Suggest Treatment For A Large Ovarian Cyst

Hi. I am a 22 year old female and I believe I had a relatively large ovarian cyst (you can both feel it and not see it through my skin). I've known about it for a few days, but it's now getting to the point I can't really ignore it. Is it better to tough it out or go to the e.r.? Will they actually do anything more than send me home on pain meds?
