Suggest Treatment For A Mole

a mole under my arm is apparently fast growing because I don't remember it being there, at least not sticking out like it is now. My 3 yr old granddaughter thought it was a "booby," apparently because it is dark like a nipple. It is rubbing against my clothes, is very painful, & although most of it is black, it appears to be growing clear close to the skin & I can see blood vessels in it. I'm having it removed next week, but am anxious to know if I should go to urgent care now & have it removed.
