Suggest Treatment For A Skin Infection

I have a dry, red scaly patch od skin on my upper cheek below my eye. Its peels when I pull on the scales and will bleed alittle and get red. When I think its clearing up, it will flare up again. I've had this for 2 months and never had any skin conditions in my life. Truly great skin usually. I'm 34 year old female. Any ideas what this could be?
