Suggest Treatment For A Sore Appearing On The Back Of The Head

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... Hi, l have a sore at the back of my head where the crease meets in the middle, near the bottom of my neck. It was frozen first by a dermatologist in our local hospital, and given Betnovate lotion to apply to the scalp area. The sore hardly went and now it is alot bigger and l will have to have it removed by surgery. It looks abit like l am told a wart type sore, but it sems to be deeply penetrating inside my scalp and possibly with roots. I would like to know if you have any photo's of head sores or similar lumps. The sore is crusty white on the top, red at the bottom, it cannot be picked off, itchy and lumpy under the thick, crusty top layer. It is about 5mm wide already after three month's. I am obviously concerned as l have to wait about six weeks to have it removed. I am thinking about private treatment instead. If you could possibly help me with an answer l would be very grateful. Sue
