Suggest Treatment For Abnormal Menstrual Bleeding

Hello Doctor, My age is 43 + . Last month my period was a little heavy, hence I checked with my Gyne and she had suggested me Trapic MF. So this time when my period started on 11th Feb I started taking 1 tab thrice daily for 5 days( as suggested to me). But today is only the 3rd day and my bleeding is not happening. Is it ok or is it stopped due to the medicine. I am told to take Trapic MF for three months (during the periods). Pls suggest.
