Suggest Treatment For Abscess In Groin Area With Discharge

I have an abscess in my groin area. After it burst, it has been leaking daily since September, 2011. It is no longer painful. However the leaking is a nuisance, and I am concerned abut the potential for infection to develop. What do you recommend? Thank you.
