Suggest Treatment For Acute Pancreatitis

Hi, On holiday in Mallorca I had a bite ( unknown origin) which produced localised oedema & redness on my arm. Took cortisone cream from pharmacist although he wanted me to see a Dr. Within 24 hours I had epigatric pain & went to local hospital & was diagnosed with Acute Pancreatitis ( Anylase & Lipase elevated to over 3000 & 6000) Admitted to ICU for 10 days - made full recovery with no ill effects. Was recommended Cholecystectomy for suspected billiary sludge as causative. 10 months post Lap Chole - had minor facial surgery & was give slow Bolus Tranexamic Acid to which I experienced Anapylatic reaction ( rapid decrease in pulse & BP, epigastric/chest pain, parasthesia & carpopedal symptoms in left arm) Recovered after Piriton IM & Adrenaline IM. 24 hrs later had severe epigastic pain & diagnosed as acute pancreatitis. Have seen CT, MRCP & EUS which shows dilated pancreatic duct & Fine Needle aspiration of pancreatic juice / biopsies from ERCP show no cytology. Consultanta are unsure of causes but suspects pre IPMN & has advocated surgery for pancreatectomy. I m terrified of this major op for no difinitive aieteology. Any advice please?
