Suggest Treatment For Acute Septic Tonsilitis During Pregnancy

hello doctor,i am 20 weeks pregnant,i started getting high fever with severe throat pain couple of days back.My gync said its acute septic tonsilitis and i am on antibiotics for 5 days.there is still severe pain while having food and drinking water.i am a working mother of 8 yr old child.do i need to see an ENT specialist doctor or shall this settle with augmentin 625?
