Suggest Treatment For Advanced Dementia While Suffering From Alzheimer S

My 93 yr old mother is in a nursing home, she has advanced dementia/ alzheimers. She has been prescribed Quetiapine for combativeness...and i am reading that this drug does not decrease agitation in patients with Alzheimers, it can worsen intellectual functioning. Also it is not approved for psychotic conditions related to dementia..plus may increase risk of death in older adults with dementia related conditions. I feel she is in danger and wrongly prescribed.
