Suggest Treatment For An Ear Infection

I have an outer ear infection and have been taking external anitbiotics for it for the last 4 days, it seems like its healing except i still can't hear and theres still a lot of pressure in my ear from what i guessing is pus and wax. Can i expect the pus to just slide out of ear on its own? Or will the antibiotics disolve it?
