Suggest Treatment For An Ear Infection

My 11 mth old son was diagnosed with RSV and pnuemonia and an ear infection on Saturday. He was treated in the hospital with breathing treatments and mortin for his fever. Since then he was been throwing his head back constantly. Is this something that we should be worried about? He has had an ear infection before but not been this fussy or ever threw his head back like he is doing.
