Suggest Treatment For An Ear Infection

I am 19 weeks pregnant,had an ear infection and was prescribed antibiotics.A month later I had a sour taste in my mouth ,I think I have Thrush and am not sure if it is or isn t no white patches or lesions just a strange taste.I am taking Nystatin but am worried I am Taking it for nothing,especially being pregnant
