Suggest Treatment For Aneurysm At The Posterior Side Of Vagina

I have a 17 year old daughter that tried using tampons for the first time. She tried to remove it after half an hour as it was uncomfortable but could not get it out. She tried several times and I suspect she might have injured herself. I had a look this morning and it seems to have formed an aneurism at the posterior side of her vagina. Should we wait a day or two for the swelling to go down and then try again, or would she need to consult a doctor?
