Suggest Treatment For Ankle Pain After Placing Rod In Tibia

hi I had a titanium rod placed in my tibia 1/30/14 for a stress fracture as well as a synthetic bone graft done midshaft. My ankle has pain mid to lateral especially in the cold the pain is piercing is this normal or should I go back to my ortho thank you
