Suggest Treatment For Anxiety And High Heart Beats At Rest

I am a 29 year old healthy male who has a good diet and rarely drinks and only smokes cigarettes occasionally. I have always had ectopic beats since I was 12 but they subsided only to reappear now. Over the period they subsided i was going through my late teens and early 20 s when I smoked and drank a great deal more. My heart rate seems to rest at 80 to 90 beats per minute. I have been to the cardiologist and had a stress test and a 24 hour monitor. My heart is fine and my doctor said it was not an issue that my heart rate is at that range. But of late I have been keeping an eye on it and when I have a cigarette my heart rate goes up to 120 beats per minute and the same if I have coffee. I was never been sensitive to nicotine or coffee before and especially now that I am healthier and exercise more then I ever use to. I want to know if I should get a second opinion as I asked my cardiologist if I needed beta blockers and he said I don t need them and exercise should help. But the exercise has not helped to lower it as when I jog it ranges anywhere between 110 to 180 beats per minute. I will admit I have suffered from anxiety for 6 years and I am also not sure that by not dealing with that it has made my heart rate permanently higher. Any advice would help.
