I don t regularly suffer from asthma or bronchitis, but a month ago, I had a severe asthma attack due to very cold and dry weather, becoming sick for days after that, with fever, body aches, and coughing. I was given a Zitromax by my doctor, and to use daily abuterol inhaler. I did that and after a month my cough was still present. So, I called the doctor and asked for a steroid inhaler to finally end this cough. She prescribed Symbicort. I am wondering what is the best way for me to get rid of this cough, which now if mostly dry, but still present. I do not want to keep taking inhalers, since I never had any problems before that. I am usually a healthy person, who runs and exercises often, but need to try to bit this cough. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
