Suggest Treatment For Back Pain Due To Degenerating Disc

I am a 64 year old male who has a degeneratin disc . Suddenly after almost 5 years my back severe pain has reappeared . I am able to sit and get up but the movement causes spasms and I have towait for a couple of minutes to straighten up . I have take Combiflam for the last 4 days morning and evening and it helps . bit once the affect wears off the pain returns . Since I have to travel abroad in 7 days , need some recommendations .
