Suggest Treatment For Back Pain

I had back surgery. Fused L1-L5, Stinosis, cleaned out along spine, Put in hardware.
Is there anything that can be done. I am now taking 4 Hydrocod bit/APAP 7.5mg/325mg per day but have trouble and pain when walking. Also when I start an exercising program, the pills are of less help.
