Suggest Treatment For Bacterial Vaginosis

I went to the doctor last week and they are treating me for bacterial vaginosis. I have been on Flagyl since last Wednesday, but I'm still experiencing greenish discharge and it has a distinct metal smell. The smell is worse during and after sex, and the symptoms have still continued even though I'm on Flagyl. The smell and the discharge are the only symptoms I have. It's not STD's, but could it be a different infection?
