Suggest Treatment For Blocked And Painful Ear

I've had a bad cold for about 3 days. I had to fly from one city to another 2 days ago. When the plane was coming in for landing, my ear blocked up quite severely. It has not unblocked since.

I woke up at 1:00am with an extremely painful earache. I have done an eucalyptus-inhalation to try and discharge the gunk through my nose, and I have applied head to my ear, however it is still very blocked and quite painful. I also have sensations as if there are drops of fluid running to my outer ear, although I have not had any success in collecting any fluid when I have held a tissue to the area. This sensation happens when my head is straight, and moreso when my head is tilted towards the side.

What can I do to relieve the pain? It feels highly pressurized so I'm not sure if that means anything. I would go and see a doctor although I do not have access to transport until about 8:00am, it is now 3:30am. Thank you very much, in advance.
