Suggest Treatment For Bruise In My Nail

I got my toenail removed about 3 weeks ago because of an ongoing ingrown toenail problem. Some of the skin at the base of the toe has been kinda bruised the last couple of days and i was wandering if that's normal?? Also i was wandering if i'll eventually be able to fully bend it? i haven't been able to very much since all this started 4 years ago.
