Suggest Treatment For Bruise Like Black Spots On My Hand

I just showed an RN my black and blue mark just below my elbow with 2 small hard spots on it. These are not tender, so probably not a bruise. Also, another similar spot on the back of my hand, between thumb and wrist. She said it should be seen by a Dr. I prefer to see specialists from the "get-go." What's the best type of specialist to see for this? I've been to a hand specialist before, so would he know what this is?
