Suggest Treatment For Bruised Cervix

Hi! I have a bruised cervix or tear in uterus from deep penetration. I was told it would heal on it's own and to take ibuprofen. There's a lot of discharge would that be due to the bruising? Is there anything else I can do and even if I feel better later what would be the appropriate amount of time to wait to have sex? Thank you
