Suggest Treatment For Bruises On Arms And Collar Bone

I have small, pea to smarty sized round bruises on my upper arms and collar bone area of my body. This has been happening off and on for a couple of years but by the time I ever see my Doctor they are gone. Should this be of concern to me? I am 51 years old.
