Suggest Treatment For Bruises On The Knee

me and my dad were play fighting and i hit him in his legs n wot not, well now he has huge bruising all over his calf and also although i hit the top of his calf his ankle has slightly swollen aswel. could it be anything serious or will the bruising and swelling just go in time ? thanx
