Suggest Treatment For Bruising And Knots On Knee After Injury

Yes, I fell on cement stairs a week ago. I have lots of bruising and have large red knot just below my knee where I hit the concrete. I had on long pants and the pants did not tear but there is a slight abrasion - very small. The red knot is also warm. I went to the doctor today and she had my leg x-rayed and nothing was broken. She said that I likely have an infection and gave me antibiotics and wants an ultrasound. The problem is, I am supposed to fly to Italy on Saturday and I am wondering if I should be terribly concerned. I am on warfarin.
