Suggest Treatment For Bruising On The Thumbnails

I have spontaneous bruising until my one of my thumbnails and underneath one big toenail. There has been no trauma. I did not hit my thumbnail nor stub my toe. I woke up this morning with spontaneous bruise marks under my left thumbnail. What could cause that? Thank you! Lisa
