Suggest Treatment For Bump Under The Nose

I have a small round bump under my nose with a yellow-brown discoloration. It started red and when it didn't develop into the cold sore I belived it was faded to the above mentioned coloring. It does not hurt but it has not gone away for several months. What could this be?
