Suggest Treatment For Catalespy

My friend has catalespy. She is on about 16 medications. The doctor she is going to either ups the medication or lowers it. SHE has been blacking out for the past 5 years. SHE has asked her doctor to send her records to a neurologist, but the doctor will not send them,she signed a paper to send them
. THE Last time she saw the doctor ,he said there is nothing else I CAN DO. SHE is afraid to go out. IS There a treatment that she can get, I think the doctor she is going to is a quack.
