Suggest Treatment For Chapped Lips

my daughter for the last 3 weeks has had severe chapped lips. it is not your basic chapped lips. they are slightly swollen, very red and cracking. she is a tanning bed user. it came on rather suddenly and has just not gotten much better. what to do?????????
