Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain In A Bronchitis Patient

Went to doctor after lacrosse try outs tuesday and learned i had bronchitis for 3 weeks i went to last day of try outs wednesday that night my chest was hurting all around from front to back. Can this be caused by pushing myself and was it not good for me to go back to intense exercises knowing what i had?
