Suggest Treatment For Chronic Back Pain

Hello I have been seeing my doctors about my back pain its been happening a lot more often multiple times a day from my lower center down my left leg and sometimes I can not move or do anything. Doctor said to exercise so I have been and today I can not cough or walk laugh or even go to the bathroom without my lower abdomen hurts really bad I hold in my cough and stuff. What could this be???
