Hi. About 3 weeks ago I started experiencing occasional heat sensations in my lower right calf. At first it would happen approx. 3-5 times a day...either when I was standing or sitting. I am a 51 year old male with no health issues except I recently had Central Serous Retinopathy in my right eye. Since diabetes is in my family history, I get blood work done every year before my annual checkup. My blood work from late November was perfect again, except my good cholesterol is slightly above the range on the test. I m also in great shape as I walk and run around for most of my 8 hours as a restaurant manager. The heat flashes are only in the lower right leg, but now they are happening 10-15 times a day. I heard that some MS patients experience this as a Very Early symptom, and I do have other official symptoms, such a chronic fatigue (even when I get 8 hours of sleep), occasional dizziness (almost daily, but very briefly), and by body aches more and more each month. Should I get checked out for MS ? I know that MS and ALS (Lou Gehrigs) isn t hereditery, but my father did die from Lou Gehrigs at 64 years old. Please advise.
