Suggest Treatment For Clogged Ear

hallo.my ears constantly get blocked.this problem started this year.when it first happened it was very painful and my doctor said i had an infection.he gave me antibiotics and my ear eventually went to normal.ever since then once in a while my ears block off and i still feel that sensation like theres water in them.i used to think it was due to smoking but i since quite smoking the first time my ears blocked off.what could be the cause???
