Suggest Treatment For Cold And Persistent Headache

from 5th december 2009, starting with a bout of flu/colds, I have had a persistent headache, varying in intensity but neveer gone. outer sides and back of head, neurologist has considered 'new persistent daily headache'. this fits in many ways, but have no nausea, light sensitivity, which could be part of that diagnosis. Have a loss of energy as well as motivation. it appears to have no cure, and last, often, for ever. am able to continue with life, but it's unpleasant. i travel a bit ib africa [sub sahara] live in south africa. wondered if youhad any ideas? thanks
