Suggest Treatment For Cold And Shooting Pain While Blowing Nose

I ve had a head cold for a week, I think it s a head cold, and I m slowly getting better but when I blow my nose I get a shooting pain up the left side if my nose into the corner of my eye. Never had anything like this before and not sure if it s a sinus infection?
