Suggest Treatment For Cold Followed By Chest Pain While Drinking Fluids

I've had a really bad cold since Friday of last week it's just now starting to go away but yesterday I was drinking a cold beverage and the right side of my chest begin to hurt. I stopped drinking and the pain lingered off, went and tried drinking again and then some more today and it's still hurting every time I drink some thing why?
