Suggest Treatment For Cold Sores And Blotches On Face

Hi - my 31 year old son had had a cold for a couple of weeks then started to get what he thought was a cold sore just inside one nostril and round the edge of it. He said it seaped and is starting to heal but he now has 3 small round cigarette burn size red blotches on his face and head. He has also developed a very large blister like sore on his upper arm which he said was seaping but he has tried to leave it uncovered and it seems to be drying up but still looks very inflamed. Says it is very tender but not itchy. It is about 4 inches in size.
