Suggest Treatment For Cold,cough And Sore Throat

I've had a cold symptoms, like cough, mucus, sore throat etc. and it's been going on for almost a month and a half. Whooping cough was going around the school I work at, but in the last couple of weeks when I don't feel the symptoms I've had sexual intercourse with another male, being a male myself. What is the best thing I should do according to my situation?
