Suggest Treatment For Congestive Heart Failure In Children

My daughter has just been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. she is an 11 year survivor of a liver transplant, has diaabetes, hep c, asthma, some arthritis. I am afraid this is the beginning of the end for her but her specialist says she is not in liver failure. Does this sound as bad to you as it does to a motherl she is 60 yrs old and has a long history of drinking, relapse etc, etc. at present she is sober for several years - I think.
