Suggest Treatment For Constant Hiccups

68 yr old male, good health, good shape (walk 3-5 miles most days, yoga). Had laparoscopic hernia surgery, left groin area. After 2 1/2 days, swelling going down, pain diminishing, walked both days with little discomfort. Had huge bowel movement yesterday, lots of urination. Problem is hiccupping that interferes with sleep. Started last night. Sometimes I can apply the usual ice packs and take the pain meds (oxycodone-acetaminophen) and get relaxed in recliner and get a couple hours but that solution is not working well any more.
