Suggest Treatment For Constipation And Bad Cramps

My husband has been having issues with constipation for over a week now. However, today he is having very bad cramping and is feeling a lot of Pain. He is also gagging as if to vomit but nothing comes out. He s taken laxatives earlier today but nothing is working.
