Suggest Treatment For Copd Along With Sleep Apnea

I have copd and sleep apnea. I lost some weight (70 lbs) in hopes of of getting off my c-pap machine. Unfortunately that did not happen because I had a floppy throat. I could have surgery to correct this. Would this surgery help me get rid of the phlem when I have such a bad cough and cannot cough anything up?
