Suggest Treatment For Cough With Greenish Sputum And Throat Pain

I am suffering from severe cough with greenish sputum production during cough. I am also having throat pain during coughing and irritation in the throat. This is since 3 days. I also had fever in for which the temp was ranging between 100-102 degrees, however, i consulted a GP who prescribed me Novaclox 250 mg 3 times daily for 5 days with calpol tablets. Today is the third day i am on that medication, however, though my fever is reduced, the cough and other symptoms are still prevailing. I am afraid if i am affected by H1N1. Should i be tested for it? Also FYI, my 1-1/2-year-old kid is suffering from allergic bronchitis since 15-20 days. His CBC has shown normal. I am treating the kid with homeopathic medication.



FYI: Everyone at home have slight cough symptoms, however, the cough frequency that i am having is high, hence please suggest should i get tested for Swine flu?
