Suggest Treatment For Cough

Hi, I have a really bad cough...it's tickling the back of my throat constantly. I cough ALL the time too the point where I can barely talk...my breathing is effected by this...and my heart is acting up because my breathing is off....how do I stop this constant tickling cough?
