Suggest Treatment For Cracked And Dry Skin Around The Areola

So my nipples were cracked/dry and breaking off. I found out I had I had a fungal infection so I did my treatment for that and now I have to use this emulsifying ointment to heal my cracked nipples. My problem is that it doesn't really absorb into my nipples (or if it does it takes hours) and if I but a bra or t shirt on after applying the ointment it wipes right off. I've tried using band aids over top of them but they end up absorbing all the ointment. Don't know what to do, please help.
