Suggest Treatment For Cyst Under Cuticle Causing Deformity Of Finger Nails

my fingernail has changed growth shape. It is channeled on one half and normal growth the rest of the nail. Dermatologist said it's a cyst under the cuticle....Rheumatologist says it's because of my osteoarthritis in 1st joint of finger (have OA in all fingers). Your thoughts and is there a surgery that will take care of problem and get my nail to grow normal again?
