Suggest Treatment For Dark Patches On The Face

hi I had dark patch on the right side of my face and my Dermot recommended me to use lumaglow cream and Mela wash for washin, I used this for 2 week and worked well but again in two days time when I stopped it my full face tuned black and even darker at the places I put the lumaglo. kindly advise wat to do now. I have an n even skin tone now and looking dark /
