Suggest Treatment For Dark Pigmentation On Either Side Of Face

Hi im 22 yrs old female.I have small pores n pits on my skin though i have a good complexion but there are some dark pigments on my both side locks of face.So my dermotologist suggested me supratret c gel.Now using it on alternative night my skin become very dry,patchy n flaky.Please prescribed me any cream containing kojic acid so that i can get rid of patches and should i continue with supratret c ?
