Suggest Treatment For Dark Spots On Both Side Of Neck

Hi, my boyfriend recently had his hair cut off. He had really long hair and he decided to get it cut off. After the barber cut off his hair he had dark spots on both sides of his neck where his hair was originally at. He use to wear braids. So how can he get rid of those spots, and where did it come from?
